Our friends Sarah and Abbey invited us to their birthday party on the 25th of May, and we were invited to dress as our favourite super heroes. So guess who didn't fully read the invitation and forgot....yup that's me.
So out came my creative side and we ended up with some pretty interesting costumes. Mylee decided to go as Cat Woman, and a very cute one she was. And Kiya was Super Girl, and she fit the part!
On that chilly day in May we sat, played games and had some snacks. And then in walked a surprise...
In walked Toronto Batman! And boy was he a surprise. The kids weren't sure how to take it, but Batman was quite entertaining. After a karate session, balloon swords, and cake and ice cream it was time to go home and get warm. It was a great adventure and we had a blast! Thanks Jenn and Mike, and thanks girls for the invite!
