Kiya

I am so proud of my girls and in totally different ways.  They each have their own little world to work though and Kiya is coming into her own. And though it makes me sad that she is no longer the little girl that would smile at you with big bright eyes and just giggle, I am so impressed with the young lady she is becoming.  She is helpful, caring, intelligent and loving.  All the qualities I want her to have in life, and yet she is also determined, willful and strong.  I feel sorry for the boys who come into her life later on because if she continues in this way she isn't settling for someone she can't respect and who doesn't respect her.  And in all honesty, that is a load off my mind.
