Making Dinner

Over the past couple weeks Darryl and I have initiated a new project.  The girls are now required to help make family dinner.  Kiya is able to reach the stove safely and her job is normally to cook the meat or stir fry the vegetables.  Mylee is learning the proper way to cut veggies.  She does a really good job.

Last week we decided to make a chicken ceaser salad.  Kiya was in charge of cooking the chicken, which she did amazingly.  Mylee was in charge of the lettuce.  She cut it with a plastic knife and then spun it in the salad spinner. 

 



 And this is what it looked like, minus the croutons.  I don't like crunchy bread, but everyone cleaned their plates and said it was yummy.  Wondering what is on the menu for this week.
