Sunday July 28th was a day that I could let loose, forget the worries of being mom, wife, friend what have you and just be a kid again. Yep that's right, I was one of many who got to attend the 2nd "The Package Tour" concert. Though I am not a giddy little screamer like so many are I really enjoy live music, there is something about it that makes your heart pump faster, your energy level rise and well you get to jump around like a kid screaming and yelling with a bunch of other people doing the exact same thing.
Things I learned from this adventure:
1. Women are not very nice to each other. The horrible looks I received as to how I was dressed or maybe it was my sparkling personality, but holy cow the statement "if looks could kill" was an understatement. We sat in seats on the floor and there were a couple people in our row who were just plain miserable. The people behind us were more chipper and fun so we chatted and danced with them.
2. Do not wear heels to a concert if you need to walk a couple city blocks in them. Granted, the pants I was wearing were too long for regular flats, by the end of the concert I was walking in downtown Toronto with no shoes on.
3. When Boys2Men come back to Casino Rama, I am definitely getting tickets! In my opinion they were the best part of the show, granted I am not a huge New Kids fan.
4. To cheer on the Boston Bruins logo in the ACC is really, really naughty.
I did have an amazing time and would do it again in a second. Seats on the floor are totally worth the money they cost. Though I could have done without seeing 98 degrees, I was really disappointed with them.
