Sometimes We Have Just Had Enough

Darryl, Mylee and I went on an adventure the other day as Mylee was feeling a little left out amongst the cousins.  She is the youngest on her Dad's side and the others have at least a 4 year gap above her so including her in activities is difficult.  So I had to run out to get something and decided to take her with me.

Off to Sally Beauty supply we went.  Mylee is always excited to visit here because she gets to pick out a lipstick for herself and well....I go for the nail polish and nail accessories.  This adventure I was looking for one specific colour and didn't find it but did find a couple others....oops.

I try to include Mylee in all our activites but finding mutual fun for both girls is getting harder and harder.  Kiya is growing up into the hormonal age of "I just hate the world" and Mylee still wants to have fun and run around.  So I am now trying to spend some quality time with each girl separately, they are both so special and offer so much enjoyment in their own way. And in moments like this day it was hard to watch Mylee be upset, because really I understand both worlds.

So I snapped a quick picture of her driving Daddy's car as he had a work call to take care of outside the building (car is off, she is just sitting in the seat).

As you can see she is quite happy to be her cheeky little self!
