Two Things a Woman Needs

...well in my opinion anyway. Or maybe I should change that to mother, I'll let you be the judge.

I truly believe that if I had a really good oven and a sewing machine I would be all set.  I have come to learn how to sew, and it is a big difference from the first time when I put a front pant leg and a back pant leg together and tried to put them on.  Yep I am just that good =).

I am also addicted to Pinterest and love some of the ideas that people come up with.  My mom sewed something for my sister and I liked it and wanted to copy it for Mylee but never had a sewing machine to do it.  Well last year for my birthday Darryl bought me one and it has been siting in the box for quite a while.  His mom was using it more than me.  So I decided to try something new, pillow case dresses.

Such an easy project, or so I thought, next time I really much read the instructions more carefully before I try something.  I had to run out last minute for bias tape to finish the dresses.  But I must say they came out pretty good.
This is Mylee's, I have misplaced the picture of Kiya's but it is somewhere.  My girl's wear them as nightgowns and I figure it cost me about $5 to make both.  Plus you can get pillowcases everywhere now.  I am so lucky my girls let me experiment.  Onto the next adventure....Pinterest here I come =)
